Precious Okoyomon photographed by Dozie Kanu
A poet, artist, and oracle of sorts, Precious Okoyomon’s work unspools somewhere between language, land, and the afterlife. Born in London, raised in the American Midwest, and now partially rooted in New York (though she’s always elsewhere), she’s known for creating immersive worlds in which bloom and decay hold hands, and chaos is just another form of care.
Over mushroom milk, we slipped into dreamlogic, where poodles are lambs, and paradise is simply time with people you love. What’s at the end of the world?
